It’s summertime here in Los Angeles which calls for backyard BBQs, refreshing drinks, and juicy apps!

I think we’ve all had a caprese before, you know the appetizer you usually see at Italian restaurants. With the juicy tomato slices, soft fresh mozzarella cheese, fresh basil, and some type of balsamic glaze and oil. All aligned flawlessly for that consistent perfect bite. 

Well, swap the tomato slice for watermelon and allow me to blow your taste buds away. There’s just something magical about sweet watermelon, salty cheese and tartness of balsamic that just work together.
